RYA Advanced Powerboat Exam
If you plan to take up to twelve paying customers to sea on boats under 24 metres you are required by law to hold an RYA Certificate of Competence with a Commercial Endorsement.
This exam will assess your level of knowledge and boat handling skills for using a powerboat for commercial purposes. If you wish to book this course, Findhorn Marina will then book the exam with the RYA on your behalf, making it a stress free process. The RYA will then send out an assessor to examine you aboard one of Findhorn Marina's boat's.
Pre Requisites:
The advanced powerboat exam is organised and run through the RYA itself, however if you would like to use one of our coded vessels to complete your exam, please contact us.

- 20 Days On Board A Boat
- 2 Days as Skipper
- 400 Miles
- 12 Night Hours
